Job Summary:

 

VA Payroll & HR-as-a-Service handles payroll, time tracking, and HR compliance, offering a scalable and accurate solution for businesses of any size. Integrated with platforms like ACH, BPI, Notion, and Odoo, it streamlines operations, boosts productivity, and lets business owners focus on growth.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Accurately calculate and distribute employee salaries and wages.

  • Ensure timely payments via integrated platforms (e.g., ACH, BPI).

  • Maintain payroll records and compliance with local labor laws.

  • Implement and manage time tracking tools.

  • Monitor employee work hours and attendance.

  • Generate reports for productivity and billing accuracy.

  • Handle onboarding and offboarding of virtual assistants.

  • Maintain employee records and documentation.

  • Provide support for HR-related inquiries and issues.

  • Set up systems to track and evaluate employee performance.

  • Facilitate performance reviews and feedback sessions.

  • Identify training and development opportunities for staff.

  • Ensure all HR and payroll practices adhere to labor regulations.

  • Stay updated on legal requirements affecting remote and offshore teams.

  • Integrate with platforms like Notion and Odoo for seamless operations.

  • Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems).

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Solid understanding of labor laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements

  • Knowledge of employee benefits, tax withholdings, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Discretion with handling sensitive employee information.

 

Preferred Previous Work Experiences:

 

  • Previous experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or in a related role.

  • Experience in sourcing and recruiting candidates in a remote or virtual environment.

  • Demonstrated success in the end-to-end recruitment process.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific recruitment challenges and strategies.

  • Previous work in roles requiring strong relationship-building skills.

  • Experience in managing candidate databases and applicant tracking systems.

  • Understanding of employment laws and compliance.

Preferred Degrees:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

  • This is a remote position, and the VA Payroll and HR-as-a-service can work from their own location.

  • The role may require availability during the business hours of the organization, which could be in a different time zone.

Performance Standards:

​

  • Performance may be evaluated based on the quality of candidate selection, the efficiency of the recruitment process, communication skills, and the ability to meet recruitment goals.
