Sales Rep Virtual Assistant

Job Summary:

​

  • The Remote Sales Rep Virtual Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to sales representatives, helping to optimize their sales processes. This is a remote position that requires excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assisting sales reps with lead generation, prospecting, and qualification.

  • Managing and updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system.

  • Coordinating sales appointments, follow-ups, and customer communication.

  • Preparing and editing sales documents, proposals, and presentations.

  • Handling inquiries from potential and existing customers via phone and email.

  • Managing product information and inventory updates.

  • Providing administrative support for sales-related tasks.

  • Generating sales reports and performance analytics as needed.

  • Collaborating with sales reps to ensure timely responses to customer requests.

  • Keeping sales documents and records organized and accessible.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems for lead and customer management.

  • Ability to multitask and manage various sales-related tasks efficiently.

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

  • Customer service and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of sales processes and terminology is a plus.

 

Preferred Previous Work Experiences:

 

  • Previous experience as a Sales Assistant, Sales Support Representative, or in a related role.

  • Experience working in a sales or customer service environment.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.

  • Demonstrated success in supporting sales reps and improving sales processes.

  • Experience in remote work or virtual assistant roles.

  • Knowledge of the products or services offered by the company.

  • Previous work in roles requiring excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Understanding of sales techniques and strategies.

 

Preferred Degrees:

 

  • A degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • This is a remote position, and the Remote Sales Rep Virtual Assistant can work from their own location.

  • The role may require availability during the business hours of the sales team, which could be in a different time zone.

  • Supervision:

  • The Remote Sales Rep Virtual Assistant may report to a Sales Manager or a sales team lead for guidance, task assignments, and performance evaluations.

 

Performance Standards:

  • Performance may be evaluated based on the efficiency and effectiveness of sales support, CRM management, customer service, and the ability to streamline sales processes.
