Staffing Coordinator

Job Summary: The Staffing Coordinator is a remote position responsible for efficiently managing and coordinating the staffing needs of an organization. This role involves recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling staff to meet the company's workforce requirements, ensuring operational continuity.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Sourcing:

    • Source and attract candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and referrals.

    • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications.

    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.

  • Candidate Selection and Onboarding:

    • Evaluate candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.

    • Conduct reference checks and background screenings.

    • Facilitate the onboarding process, including paperwork, orientation, and training.

  • Scheduling and Coordination:

    • Create and manage employee schedules to meet operational demands.

    • Handle scheduling conflicts and adjustments promptly.

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  • Communication and Documentation:

    • Maintain clear and effective communication with employees, managers, and relevant stakeholders.

    • Document all hiring and staffing activities, maintaining accurate records.

  • Performance Tracking:

    • Monitor employee performance and address issues as needed.

    • Implement performance improvement plans when necessary.

  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations.

    • Generate reports on staffing metrics and performance as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using HR and scheduling software.

  • Understanding of labor laws and compliance.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Preferred Previous Work Experience:

  • Prior experience in HR, staffing, or recruitment is preferred.

  • Familiarity with remote work and virtual team management is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Remote work with flexible hours.

  • Availability to attend occasional virtual meetings.

  • May require some weekend or evening work to accommodate staffing needs.

Performance Standards:

  • Efficiently fill staffing gaps with qualified candidates.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing records.

  • Provide effective onboarding and support to employees.

  • Resolve staffing conflicts promptly and professionally.
